MyBridgePay Virtual Terminal Quick Reference Guide
Minimum Requirements
Windows 8 or higher 32 or 64 Bit
MAC OS 9 or higher
2 GHz or higher
2 GBs or higher of RAM
Browsers: Chrome, MS Edge (Chromium), or Firefox
Device Options
EMV devices: Pax A920, A80, A60, A800, A77 & A35 and ID TECH Augusta
Configuring a Device for the Virtual Terminal
To accept EMV, Tap to Pay, or swipe transactions, configure your device using the Device Wizard in the Virtual Terminal.
Select your device from the drop down menu and follow the steps in the Device Wizard.
USB Connected Device = IDTECH Augusta Device Setup
Network Connected Device = PAX Device Setup (Pairing)
MyBridgePay Transactions
Credit Sale (Swipe)
In the Virtual Terminal, click Payment Method
Select Credit Card from drop down
Under Transaction Type
Select Sale from drop down
Input $ amount (* required field)
Insert, Tap, or Swipe card using card reader
Fields will auto populate
Complete any optional fields
Click Process
Credit Sale (Manual/Keyed)
In the Virtual Terminal, under Payment Method
Select Credit Card from drop down
Under Transaction Type
Select Sale from drop down
Input $ amount (* required field)
Input Credit Card number & expiration date
Input AVS info: Billing Address and Zip Code
Input Card Security Code (CVV) if card is not present
Complete any optional fields
Click Process
Credit Refund (by way of Find Payment information)
Use the Find Transaction from the left navigation menu
Input your search criteria, date range, and click search
Find the transaction to refund and click the Refund icon
If partial refund, input the $ amount and click Process
If full refund, click Process
A Receipt window opens to confirm refund is completed and have option to email receipt or print receipt.
Credit Void
Select Batch Management from the left navigation menu
Click Unsettled Batches, find transaction from the list
Click the Trash Can icon to initiate VOID
Click Save Changes (bottom right of screen)
Click Yes to confirm
Click Ok to close window
Repeat Sale (by way of Search Method)
Input last 4 digits of card or last name or Click arrow to the right for more search criteria
Find the transaction to reprocess and click the Repeat Sale Icon
Input $ amount if amount is different.
Click Process
Credit Authorization
In the Virtual Terminal, under Payment Method
Select Credit Card from drop down
Under Transaction Type
Select AUTH from drop down
Input $ amount (* required field)
Insert, Tap, or Swipe card using card reader
Fields will auto populate
Complete any optional fields
Click Process
Credit Capture (For Auths)
Select Batch Management from the left navigational menu
From Unsettled Batches, find transaction from the list
Enter in Settle Amount
Check the box to Capture transaction
Click Save Capture to confirm
To settle the transaction, select Submit for Settlement
Card Verification (Swiped)
In the Virtual Terminal, under Payment Method
Select Credit Card from the drop down list
Under Transaction Type
Select Card Verification from drop down
Insert, Tap, or Swipe card using card reader
Card number, expiration date, and account holder name fields will auto populate
Input Card Security Code (CVV) (* required field)
Input Billing Zip Code (* required field)
Complete any optional fields
Click Process
Card Verification (Manual/Keyed)
In the Virtual Terminal, under Payment Method
Select Credit Card from the drop down list
Under Transaction Type
Select Card Verification from drop down
Input Credit Card number & expiration date
Input Card Security Code (CVV) (* required field)
Input Billing Zip Code (* required field)
Complete any optional fields
Click Process
ACH Sale
In the Virtual Terminal, click Payment Method
Select ACH from drop down
Under Transaction Type
Select Sale from drop down
Select SEC Code (TEL, CCD, or PPD)
Input $ amount (* required field)
Select Account Type
Click Process
MyBridgePay Reports
How to run a Transaction Sales Report
Go to Reports
Click Transaction Reports
Select Sales Report
Enter the search criteria
Click Search
View the report or export the file
To export the file, click the icon for the file format: PDF, XLS, CSV, or TSV
How to run a Batch Summary Report
Go to Reports
Select Batch Reports
Select Summary Report
Enter the search criteria
Click Search
View the report or export the file
To export the file, click the icon for the file format: PDF, XLS, CSV, or TSV
How to run a Batch Detail Report
Go to Reports
Select Batch Reports
Select Detail Report
Select Batch ID from drop down
Enter the search criteria
Click Run Report
View the report or export the file
To export the file, click the icon for the file format: PDF, XLS, CSV, or TSV
MyBridgePay Batch Settlement
How to Manually Settle a Batch
Go to Batch Management
Go to Unsettled Batches tab
Capture the entire batch by checking Capture All (Will Capture all Auth Only transactions)
Or select specific transactions by checking the Capture box for the transaction
Click Submit for Settlement
Auto Settlement
By default, auto settlement is enabled unless it was instructed to disable.
NOTE: Auto Settlement times must be setup in Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).
