  4. API Enhancements

1. Create/Edit Contract Custom Field in Boarding API

BridgePay now gives you greater control over user management and API interactions. Administrators can create users at the Reseller, Sales Agent, Merchant Group, and Merchant Account levels to manage Recurring Billing Contract Custom Fields in the Boarding API.

Under Admin, you can create roles to assign to different groups with these rights. To start, click Create Role.

After selecting Create Role, enter a Role Name, choose a User Type, and select a Role Grade (for Merchant Group roles only). Note that changing the User Type will reset your selections.

After completing the general information, choose the rights for the new role under Custom Fields → Contract Custom Fields (Boarding API Only).

Once the role is created, add it to the associated User Type to give users access to manage Contract Custom Fields through the Boarding API.

2. Search Users by Email Address in Admin Module

Beginning in FE 25.6, you can now search for users in the Admin section of MyBridgePay. This is available for Reseller and Sales Agent users that have the Admin Module right enabled. Under Admin → Users, enter a user’s email address to view all accounts associated with that email.

By default, all users with Admin access can access appear in the results. As you enter an email address, the list automatically filters to show only those associated with that address.
